My campuss, University of Indonesia, has very long holiday for three months, June till August. There are many activities that should be done. Go to campus for BEM activities and talks with my friends. Sometimes, we wanna meet each aother and sharing about many things. That's a kind of women's custom :D
Jogja
On early July 2010, I and my friends went to Jogja. They are Eka, Omen, Oot, Dhana, Dwi, and Afif. We left Tanah Abang Station to Jogja by Brantas train with Economy Class. The ticket price is 38000 per person. There is no seat number! So, we have to look for the seats as soon as possible. Thanks, Omen :D You're truly A Man of Train This Year, haha :D
Some of us shocked with the condition of the train because it was narrow and sultry. Although like that, we enjoyed our trip by crushing, laughing, and sleeping. It took about 12 hours. We arrived at Lempuyangan Station about 6 am.
There, we lived at Harum Hotel at Sosrowijatyan Street, a part of Malioboro. The price is 100.000 per a day for two people. It is the holiday price. For the daily, it's just 80.000. The location is very strategic. If we wanna go to Malioboro, it just takes 5 minutes. Beside that, the shelter of Trans Jogja is not far too. So, Harum Hotel is recommended :D
For two days there, we visited some tourism places, like Masjid Agung Jogja, Keraton Jogja, Malioboro, Borobudur, and some of museums in Borobudur area. We visited The Faculty of Humanity, Gadjah Mada University too.
Many experiences there. It's very amused when Oot was forced by the statue seller to buy his stupa in Borobudur. Because Oot is a kind man and has great sympathy with him, finally he bought it. But, the problem is when Oot said, "I don't know what for this!." Haha :D
The other story is when we walked along the Malioboro street. I've found cute broochs.
"How does the price of this one?" asked me.
"fifteen"
"Waaaw. It's too expensive. I think its just 3 thousand. How?"
"Emmmm. Emmmm. No, no, no. 10.000 for 3 pieces."
"Okay. I 'll buy 3 pieces."
Guys, if you wanna buy some on Malioboro, you have to bargain. You have to do that if you wanna get cheap price. All of the things there :D
